Soul Orb

A Ghost type holding this item lays a curse on a Pokemon attacking it (on that very turn), but any non Ghost type holding this item and getting hit will have a Curse status layed on them. But when casting a curse to any Pokemon, 25% of their HP (rounded down) will be lost.

Basically great for Sableye, but it was mostly intentional for my Ghost pokemon.

Positive , I love the Curse status ( I bet Cofagrigus' love it too...) and an item that lets Ghost types inflict Curse on them w/o even attacking them? Thats brilliant.

Pikachu on drugs, oops, wrong thread, oh yeah, its that thread...

Yeah it looks pretty awesome but should maybe have some sort of restriction on when the attacker gets cursed, as it can be pretty bad if a Pokemon attacks Sableye and they are already statused with Burn or Poison.

Sorry but this seems pretty op, if it doesn't cut the users HP, as it deletes a quarter of the opponents HP per turn, which is Extrmeley much

i am going to vote Negative for this unless the curse drains the holder's hp while casting the curse (even if it's by a lower amount such a 25% instead of 50% which would make this item probably useless) as curse is a very dangerous status that actually can stack up with other status such as toxic spikes field hazard or other hp draining status, while said ghost type can drain it's attacker's hp with pain split (the most common move for ghost types to learn) and by the end of the turn have the curse drain an extra 25% of the attacker's hp not factoring other status he might have gotten affected before attacking the ghost holding this orb.

This sounds like a signature item for a specific pokemon (IMO). I like it.

My idea on this concept:
If holder is a ghost-type or half-ghost type, it inflicts a sort of mini-Curse status on both pokemon (removes 1/8 HP per turn). And if the holder is not a ghost-type, it inflicts the regular Curse status on the holder until the item is swapped or Knocked Off.

Not a mini curse status, a full curse status. Besides, that 25% HP loss can be pretty fatal at times. And most Ghost types already have access to Curse; this just takes their item up and allows them to save 25% of their HP, but Curse is already a not very good status to start with as its hard to play with or use.
