Toxic Mist - Effect Move
Poison Type
BP - N/A
ACC - N/A
PP - 5 - Max 8

The User spreads a poison gas around the room for 4 Turns then dissipates.

Does 6% damage every Turn for 4 Turns and affects all Types apart from Poison and Steel Types. Can be cleared with Defog and increases Poison Types damage (1.5x). Doesn't force any Weather away.

Edit Edit Edit, and more Edit: Cofagragus halped me, sorta, with a new rethink of how this thing works. And it does work. Finally. Woohoo.

I like it personally although I am inclined to agree with Snaq about the hazard/weather being a little too dominant atm. But I like the idea. /me throws a maybe at hdow

I vote Positive, but only if it isn't weather, but like Gravity (as it doesn't seem like forcing other weathers away), so that it fades away after 4 turns and that there is no ability that makes this come on the field permanently

How can a Hazard move do something for 4 turns, they only do something at switching

I'll explain what I had in mind for this particular Move.

It'll be a Hazard and act like one, but will go away after the 4 Turns. It does as it says, with the damage to Pokémon that aren't Poison or Steel and acts like Weather in a way due to the damage increase and decrease for Poison and Ground. I made it because I think it's a nice half Hazard half Weather Move that could prove interesting.

shush ok ok you girls are both pretty, can I say something?

What I can understand of this move is that its not an ENTRY HAZARD, but its a FIELD HAZARD. Weather counts as a Field Hazard as it doesnt specifically hurt those coming in but some weathers create Residual Damage. Please dont try to say, Shadow, that it is half weather and half hazard as you are confusing Snaq and me. This is what I get from this:
You use this move and a ROOM MOVE/FIELD HAZARD called Toxic Mist is there on the field for 4 turns, damaging all non-Poison/Steel type Pokemon by a(n) (12%/6%) amount of HP, am I right?

 This weather should be cleared by Defog and should boost Venoshocks effectiveness>:)
